Joyceanne Katherine Swartz Lane, 62, died Thursday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Charles William and Francis O'Grondy Swartz. Mrs. Lane was wife of the late Ronald Dwight Lane, and was a grill operator for the Waffle House.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Walker Family Cemetery, with pastor James Spencer officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lane is survived by a daughter, Kristie Lane Lee of Seven Springs; two sons, Ronald Dwight Lane Jr. of Goldsboro and Kevin Andrew Lane of Seven Springs; three brothers, Larry Swartz of Witchita, Kan., Gene Swartz of Summer Duck, Va., and Carl Swartz of Grind Stone, Pa.; two sisters, Charlotte Swartz Macais of Stafford, Va., and Sharon Porter of East Millsboro, Pa.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be sent to Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, P.O. Box 167, Goldsboro, N.C., 27533.
