PIKEVILLE -- James R. Taylor, 76, Butterfly Lane, died Sunday at home.
Graveside service will be held today at 3 p.m. at Pikeville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service.
He was born in Wilson County Oct. 7, 1934, to the late Frank and Gertrude Brown Taylor. He was married to the late Betty Davis Taylor.
He is survived by a son and a daughter.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
