DUDLEY -- Amelia Gail Poythress Daniels, 66, passed away early Tuesday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Mrs. Daniels was born in Wayne County to the late Ernest Poythress and Hazel Whitman Poythress.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Andy Stovall officiating.
Mrs. Daniels is survived by her husband, Conald Gray Daniels; her daughter, Sherri Lane and husband, Vann, of Goldsboro; her stepdaughters, Frances Figgins and husband, Ronnie, of Dudley and Connie Casey and husband, Neal, of Dudley; her sons, Craig Hall and wife, Carol, of Clayton and Bobby Poythress and wife, Patty, of Mount Olive; her brother, David Poythress and wife, Jeannine, of Goldsboro; her sister-in-law, JoAnn Poythress of Dudley; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Poythress Sr., and her stepdaughter, Diana Lynn Daw.
The family will greet friends Wednesday following the service at the cemetery, and other times at 591 Casey Mill Road in Dudley.
