Neil Ray Anthony, 194 Community Drive, died Wednesday at Pitt Memorial with his family by his side.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 am at Grace Baptist Church, 220 N. Barden St. in Princeton, and interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors, with the Rev. Eugene Worley officiating.

There will be a time of sharing with the family in the fellowship hall before the funeral.

Surviving are his wife, Dixie Matson Anthony; son Robin Rea Anthony (Kay Keen) of Grantham; daughters, Georgene Loree Capps (Donnie) of Princeton, Gloria Irene Daniels, Janeil Gay Marak (Paul) and Michelle Rae Davenport (Marty) all of Goldsboro; a brother, Jimmy Anthony (Carolyn) of Grand Island, Neb.; sisters, Marilyn Ruiz (Sotero) and Audrey Clouse (Jack) both of North Platte, Neb., Dorla Keup (Ivan) of Odem, Texas, and Elaine Spanjer (Leland) of Cozad, Neb.; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Anthony of North Platte, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Anthony was a native of Nebraska, and was preceded in death by his parents, Leota Irene Miller Anthony and Walter Ray Anthony, and brothers, Otis and Jackie.

He retired from the United States Air Force, and then was manager of various area restaurants. He also worked in concrete construction, and currently worked for a number of car dealers, moving inventory.

Mr. Anthony was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
