DURHAM -- Doris Leach Lawrence, 93, formerly of McLean, Va., passed away Friday.
Mrs. Lawrence was born Nov. 13, 1916, in Lenoir County to the late Angus Patterson Leach Sr. and Susan Eason Leach Newberry. She was married to the late William H. Lawrence.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry Mitchell officiating.
Mrs. Lawrence is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home in LaGrange.
