Lindora Ginn Howell, 71, 3339 N.C. 111 North, passed away Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Howell Family Cemetery, with the Rev. Mike Williams and the Rev. Harmon Smith officiating.
Lindora was born in Wayne County Nov. 1, 1938, to the late General Jasper "Snook" Ginn and Aileen Sullivan Ginn.
She attended Free Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Lindora is survived by her sons, Nick Howell and wife, Tina, of Garner and Brad Howell and wife, Brandi, of Goldsboro; her grandsons, Jenson Howell, Barrett Howell, Seth Barefoot and Hansen Barefoot; her brother, Shelton Ginn of Pikeville; her sisters, Lena Ginn of Pikeville, Sandra Parks and Jackie Smith of Goldsboro; and a special cousin, Judy Button of Great Bridge, Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Nicholas Howell Sr.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center at 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and at other times at the home.
