PIKEVILLE -- Alice Horne Davis, 69, 101 Marl Place, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Burial was in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Myrtle Rowe Horne.
She was retired from Americal after 27 years of service.
Ms. Davis is survived by four daughters, Shelda Johnson of Rosewood, Alice Bunn of Pikeville, Nina Stallard of Seven Springs and Tabitha Long of Wilmington; a brother, Rudolph Horne of Pikeville; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
