HELEN DAW KILLETTE

Helen Daw Killette, 94, died Friday, Sept. 18, at her residence.

Born in Onslow County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Spicy Blake Daw, and wife of the late Lonnie Edward Killette.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at The Free Chapel Church, with pastor Mike Williams officiating.

Family members will greet friends Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Killette is survived by her three daughters, Karen Summerlin of Pikeville, Diane and Art Andrews of Pikeville and Lonniette and Kenny Porter of Kinston; a brother ,David Daw of Goldsboro; a sister, Eloise Baker of Tarboro; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Community Home Care and Hospice, 1201-C Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530, and WAGES Senior Companion Program, 601 Royal Ave., Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
