GREENVILLE -- Mrs. Myra B. Horton, 86, died Sunday, July 25, 2010.
The funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Wilkerson Funeral chapel. Burial will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Horton, a native of Wayne County, had been a resident of Greenville for the past 58 years.
She was an active member of Arlington Boulevard Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Roy J. Horton; brothers, Wilbert and Marvin Bogue; and sisters, Sallie Futrell, Margaret Batts, Irene Hamrick, Grace Reid, Doris Parris, Eloise Futrell and Minnie Eloshway.
She is survived by her sister, Ruth Bogue Davis, of Wilson, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour.
