EVA MAE "E-MAE" COX
Died June 10, 2010
Eva Mae "E-Mae" Cox, 79, of 3595 Thoroughfare Road, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A service of memory will be held Tuesday at noon at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St. Pastor Alton Thompson will officiate.
Burial will follow at Wilson Family Cemetery on Woodpecker Road. A public viewing will be held Monday from 2 until 6 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Cox is survived by two daughters, Edith Cox Leon of the home, and Sandra (Victor) Cox of Goldsboro; two sons, Major (Diana) Cox Jr., and Douglas (Louise) Cox, both of Goldsboro; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Carrie B. Thompson of Goldsboro; one brother, Leamon (Edna) Durham of Feyetteville; three sisters-in-law, Essie Cox, Geraldine Atkinson, and Nina Durham; one brother-in-law, Joshua Bullock; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
