DUDLEY BLACKBURN

FAYETTEVILLE -- Dudley Blackburn, 93, passed away peacefully Saturday at Carol S. Robeson Hospice Center.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren chapel, with burial at Lafayette Memorial Park.
Mr. Blackburn was born March 13, 1917, in Warsaw to David James and Katie Elizabeth Blackburn.
He was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather and friend.
He worked at M&O Chevrolet as an automotive technician for 14 years. He retired with Fayetteville City Schools' maintenance department after 17 1/2 years.
He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda English and husband, Larry, and Carolyn Robertson; sister, Norma Kreiger; six grandchildren, Jay English, Lee Brock, Regina Hart and husband, Craig, Craig Brock and wife, Onja, Cristol Adams and husband, Fred, and Amity Caraballo; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
