Funeral services to celebrate the life and service of Howard "Buddy" Shaw will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Glenn Phillips and the Rev. Mike Eddinger officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Flowers are welcome or the family requests that memorials may be made to honor the life of Buddy to Shriners Hospital For Children, 403 E. Front St., New Bern, N.C., 28560, or Elevator Fund, First Baptist Church, 125 S. John St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Seymour Funeral Home, and at other times at the residence.
