PIKEVILLE -- Billy Joe Strickland, 51, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Mr. Strickland's home in Pikeville.
Mr. Strickland was born in Virginia April 25, 1958.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Dixie James Smith and Wendell of Pikeville, and a daughter.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
