Hazel Coltrane Woodard, 84, formerly of 2710 Langston Drive in Kirkwood Retirement Village, died Wednesday at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
Private graveside funeral services will be held at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Paul Rose officiating.
Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Viola Edwards Coltrane and the wife of the late Albert Woodard Jr.
She was formerly employed with Wayne County schools.
She is survived by a son, Wayne Woodard and wife, Nancy, of Garden Ridge, Texas; three daughters, Loretta W. Lanier and her husband, Gerald, of Faison, Sandra W. Pfannkuchen and husband, Chuck, of Greensboro and Linda W. Futrell and husband, Jim, of Seven Springs; four grandchildren, Daniel Woodard, Kenny Futrell, Candice Core and Will Lanier; two great-grandchildren; and her loving family and friends at Kirkwood Retirement Village.
