LAGRANGE -- Lena K. "Mable" Rose, 46, passed away Monday at the residence.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Greg Stancil and the Rev. Dr. Don Sauls officiating. Interment will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mable was born in Speedwall, Va., March 22, 1964, to the late George Kegley and Emma Dunford Kegley.

She had worked as a substitute teacher for the Wayne County Public Schools.

Mable is survived by her husband, Ricky Rose of LaGrange; her daughter, Lee Ann Julien and husband, Matt; her son, Michael Joe Rose of LaGrange; her grandson, Isaiah Julien; her sisters, Lonnie Sigmon and husband, Steve, of LaGrange and Jean Outlaw and husband, Kenneth, of Seven Springs; her brother, Alan Kegley of LaGrange; a special nephew, Danny Lethco and wife, Susan; and two nieces, Jennifer and Jessica.

The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff and doctors at Southeastern Medical Oncology Center and Wayne Memorial Hospital. The love and care given to Mable during her illness was very much appreciated. May God bless each of you.
