Elnora Best, 92, was born Sept. 23, 1917, in Wayne County to the late Tom Best and the late Molly Uzzell and was married to the late Leamon E. Best. She died Tuesday at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, with brother Arnold Howe officiating. Committal service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter.
A viewing will be held Tuesday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, and at other times the family will be at 423 Beale St. in Goldsboro.
