RALEIGH -- Eugene H. Blanton died Tuesday at the Brian Center of Goldsboro.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Westwood United Methodist Church, 130 Short Street in Goldsboro. Committal will be in Herring Cemetery, Woodland Church Road in Albertson, with the Rev. Rufus Butner III officiating.
He was a native of Duplin County, the son of the late Cornelius Robbinson Blanton and Thomas Bryon Blanton.
He is survived by a son.
Visitation will following the service.
Arrangements are with Evergreen Memorial Service of Goldsboro.
