ANNETTE E. MARTIN

MOUNT OLIVE -- Arlene Annette Ezzell Martin, 69, 107 Stephens St., died Sunday at home.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leland Heath officiating. Burial will be in Martin-Price Cemetery.

Born in New Hanover County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Norwood Sr. and Arlene Batson Ezzell.

A homemaker, she was a member of VFW Post 9959 Ladies Auxiliary of Mount Olive. She was also a member of Brownings United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband, Hugh Martin; her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Scott Drabek of Jones Creek, Texas; a brother, Clarence Norwood Ezzell Jr. of Wilmington; two granddaughters, Emileigh and Ellie Drabek; a grandson, Jesse Drabek; and a special son-in-law, Randy Owensby of Knoxville, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Leigh Martin Owensby.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
