Linwood Lee Mooring, 76, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gene Turner officiating.
Born in Wilson County, he was the son of the late Marcellus and Smithie Darden Mooring.
He is survived by his wife, Faye G. Evans Mooring, and four children.
The family will remain after the service to greet friends. At other times, they will be at the home of Dana Evans.
