CATHERINE N. MORGAN

Catherine Newsome Morgan, 80, passed away Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Todd Wiggins officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Catherine was born in Wayne County Oct. 30, 1929, to the late Fred Carr Newsome and Ruth Loftin Newsome. She was married to the late Charles Kermit Morgan.
Catherine had worked with Drutan for 18 years and also with Sunburst Foods for 10 years.
She was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church.
Catherine is survived by her daughter, Pamela H. Lewis of Goldsboro; her son, Fred Allen Harvell of Clarksville, Tenn.; her sister, Lorraine Newsome Hill of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Christopher Ray Lewis, Jason Harold Lewis and Pamela Susanne Lewis; and two great-grandchildren, Connor Ray Lewis and Gavin Lewis.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Adamsville Baptist Church, 1302 N. Berkeley Blvd., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will receive friends Thursday in the hour prior to the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
