Geraldine Wilson Daughtry, 80, passed away Sunday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Madison Avenue Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robert Fulkerson officiating. Entombment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Geraldine was born in Sampson County Nov. 6, 1929, to the late Blackmon C. Wilson and Jean Gertrude Underwood Wilson.
She had retired from T.A. Loving Co.
Geraldine was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and special friends to so many.
Geraldine is survived by her husband of 59 years, Leo Daughtry; her daughters, Wanda Jean Oelrich and husband, Michael H. Oelrich, of Niceville, Fla., and Terry Lynn Raynor of Raleigh; and five grandchildren, Heather Oelrich, Kyle Oelrich, Trevor Raynor, Madison Raynor and Tanner Raynor. She is also survived by a dear friend and caregiver, Dorothy Cogdell.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Seymour Funeral Home.
