NELLIE C. TYNDALL

Nellie Cotton Tyndall, 81, went to be with her Heavenly Father Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A service to remember Nellie will be held tonight at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends afterwards. Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery in Goldsboro.
Nellie was born in Wayne County Aug. 26, 1928, to the late John Cotton and Flora Howell Cotton. She was married to the late Roland Lee Tyndall.
Nellie was an active member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother "Granny." She loved her family and her church.
Nellie is survived by her sons, Earl Tyndall and wife, Hope, of Goldsboro and Roger Tyndall of Pikeville; her grandchildren, Tammy Jarman and husband, Bubba, Kim Smith and husband, Jeff, and Adrian Tyndall and wife, Ava; her great-grandchildren, Alexis and Blake Jarman, Kaitlyn and Kylie Smith and Hunter and Wesley Tyndall; one brother, Shelton Cotton and wife, Alene; and one sister, Thelma Howell of Goldsboro.
Although flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be directed to Victory Free Will Baptist Church, 1806 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
