ESTELLE V. SMITH

CLINTON -- Estelle Vera Smith, 83, 1285 Matthis Road, died Sunday at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
A private memorial service for immediate family only will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home Chapel, with sister Maxine Tancraitor, C.D.P. of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, officiating.
Mrs. Smith, born in Duplin County, was the daughter of the late Strauss David Davis and Vive Estelle Lambert Davis and was the widow of Adolphus George "A. G." Smith.
She worked in healthcare and was a retired dietitian assistant.
She is survived by a daughter, Gloria Smith Carter of Clinton; a son, George Davis Smith of Clinton; a brother, S. D. Davis and wife, Johnnie, of Calypso; two granddaughters, Lee Ann Simpson of Fayetteville and Michelle Carter Williams of Clinton; two great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
The family will receive friends at the home of her granddaughter, Michelle Williams, 316 Deer Track Trail, Clinton, N.C., 28328.
The family requests no flowers please.
