ROSE HILL -- Ava Coston Newkirk, 54, 517 Old Pope Road, died Saturday at her home.
Funeral services will be held at Greater Yeshuwa Temple in Wallace Thursday at 11 a.m., with apostle Davelon Carr officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia.
Her survivors include her husband, Ledell Newkirk of Long Island, N.Y.; two sons; and one daughter.
A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, and at other times at the home of the deceased.
Rose Hill Funeral Service is handling the arrangements.
