Ella Burton McLaurin Brantham, 82, of Rossville, Ga., passed away Friday in a local hospital.

She attended Oakwood Baptist Church in Chickamauga.
Mrs. Brantham was born on Aug. 18, 1927, in Clinton. She resided in Goldsboro, and Piedmont, S.C., and in Rossville at the time of her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jerry Johnson Brantham.
Survivors include her brother, Harold McLaurin, Rocky Point; 12 children, Terrie Brantham Futrell (Steve), Roanoke, Va., Sherry Brantham Johns (Kelvin), Raleigh, Rev. Jerry Johnson Brantham Jr. (Arleen) South St. Paul, Minn., Julia Kaye Brantham Jones (Terry), Chattanooga, Tenn., Ivan Eugene Brantham (Rita), Rossville, Ga., Leisa Brantham King (Alan), Falmouth, Ind., Rebecca Brantham Elliott (Jim), Monticello, Ind., Susan Brantham McCurdy (Scott), Danville, Ill., Sonya Brantham Kramm (Dave), Phnom Penh, Cambodia, John David Brantham, Piedmont, S.C., Jennifer Brantham Cole (Ken), Cleveland, Tenn., and Sarah Brantham Foster Fowler, Greer, S.C.; 39 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
