CAROLE B. DAUGHTRY

RALEIGH -- Carole Brock Daughtry, 69, 505 Van Thomas Drive, died Monday at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Mass.

A private interment will be held Friday at Faison Cemetery in Faison. A service of remembrance will be held later in the day at 3 p.m. at Greystone Baptist Church, Raleigh.

A native of Mount Olive, she was the daughter of the late Sadie Pate Brock and Cletus E. Brock, who was a former editor and one of the former owners of The Mount Olive Tribune.

Mrs. Daughtry was a retired school teacher with Raleigh City schools.

Carole is survived by her husband, C. Mitchell Daughtry of the home; a son, Michael Daughtry and wife, Ceciel, of Carrboro; a daughter, Michele D. Pickard and husband, Jason, of Franklinton; a sister, Peggy B. Bryan and husband, Eugene, of Missouri; and four granddaughters.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Tyndall Funeral Home of Mount Olive.
