William Clarence "Bill" Page, 77, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family after a long struggle with cancer.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park with full military honors.

Bill was born in Lakeview, S.C., on Nov. 30, 1931, to the late Ernest Page and Juanita Hayes Page. He was married to Joann Hamlin Page for more than 51 years. Bill served his country for 22 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a master sergeant. He was assistant postmaster with the United States Postal Service and was also a real estate agent with Houser Reality. Bill enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing and was an avid gardener.

In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by daughters, Sherry Page Lenos of the home, Capt. Katrina P. Holloway and husband, Major Dan Holloway, of Melbourne, Fla., and Pamela P. Walker and husband, Joseph, of Jacksonville; his sister, Helen P. Jackson; his brothers, Lanier Page and Glenn Garrett Page; his grandchildren, Heather Joanne Gates and husband, Sean, Virginia Shepard and husband, Eric, Patricia Shawn Lenos, William Dane Holloway and Austin Blake Holloway; and his great-grandchildren, Charles Andrew Stagner, Sadie Lavina Gates, Eric William Shepard Jr. and Jarrett and Paxton Shepard.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ernestine Youngblood, Eloise Car-michael and Sara Evans.

The family will receive friends Monday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
