PRINCETON -- Bettie Frances Whitman Disher, 81, died Thursday morning.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Oakland Heights Cemetery, with the Rev. Dan Hudson officiating.
Born April 15, 1928, in Johnston County to the late David Andrew and Addie Pearl Pilkington Whitman, she was the widow of Charlie Eugene Disher.
She is survived by six children.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home and at other times at the home of her daughter Brenda Gilmore, 153 Old Rock Quarry Road in Princeton.
Parrish Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
