Luther L. Ross, 73, passed away on Thursday morning at the Brian Center.
The family will gather on Monday from 5 until 7 p.m. to receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home.
Luther was born in Beaufort County on Sept. 1, 1935, to the late William Ross and Vivian Smith Ross. He retired as a fireman with the City of Goldsboro after 35 years of dedicated service.
Luther is survived and forever loved by his wife, Evelyn Walston Ross; his daughter, Jessica Tarkington and husband, Joshua, of Goldsboro; his sons, James Ross and Bobby Ross of Goldsboro; and two grandchildren, Joseph and Daisy.
