Kenneth Morgan Stancil Jr., 41, of 783 Old Mount Olive Highway, Dudley, died Friday.
A service to celebrate Kenny's life will be held today at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Stancil officiating. Family members will greet friends immediately following the funeral service and at other times will be at the home of his parents, 781 Old Mount Olive Highway, Dudley.
Born in Northampton County, he was the son of Kenneth Sr. and Joanne Stancil of Dudley. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a former member of the Ghostriders and attended Brogden United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Debbie Edwards Stancil; three sons, Kenneth Morgan Stancil III, Nicholas Damon Stancil, Christopher William Stancil all of the home; his grandparents, Rose Thomas Strickland of Grifton, Mary Lou Strickland of Dudley; his in-laws, Danny and Joyce Edwards of Como; a brother, Chris Stancil of Dudley and his special friend, Sherry Perry; and numerous cousins and close friends.
