A celebration of life for Timothy Lamar Faison 48, 1000 A Deveraux St., who slept into Gods tender care Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, will be held Friday at noon at Church of God and True Holiness, with pastor Willie Faison officiating. He will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 27, 1960, to Sarah Artis Faison and the late Willie Faison.
He leaves precious memories with his mother and stepfather, Sarah Faison and Aaron Taylor; four children, Keri Edwards, Timmy Faison, Shanta Faison and Dontay Mickens; six sisters, Irish Harris, Willie Gail Taylor, Jacqulyn Atkinson, Engle Tunstell (James), Contrina Faison and Natasha Faison; seven brothers, Thomas Harris, Angelo Harris (Michelle), Derrick Faison, Lester Faison (Tammy), Larry Hargrove, Wayne Faison (Tomeico) and Willie Faison (Monique); and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
There will be a visitation Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Sarah Faison, 904 N. Madison Ave.
