Sgt. 1st Class William N. Goings, 68, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held Saturday at noon at Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Snow Hill, with apostle Douglas Kornegay officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Rosylyn S. Goings, and two sons.
A walk-in wake will be held Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home in Snow Hill.
The family will receive friends at 132 Adler Lane in Goldsboro.
