Lois Morrison Fowler, 84, died Wednesday morning at Kitty Askins Center.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with pastor Jerry Mitchell officiating.

She was born in Longmont, Colo., to the late Walker B. and Verda Lee Wooden Morrison and was married to the late William D. Fowler.

She worked for Boulevard Lanes and after her retirement she worked part time for Krispy Kreme.

Ms. Fowler is survived by one son, Steven R. Fowler of Goldsboro; two daughters and son-in-law, Kathy M. and Glenn Gwaltney of Goldsboro and Judy Lathrop of Salisbury; three sisters, Ann Speaks, Agnes Lloyd and Carolyn Henderson; two grandchildren, Kristie Gwaltney Parker and George Bradley Morrow; and three great-grandchildren, Keely Grace Parker, Timothy Wayne Morrow and Kayla Marie Morrow.

The family will be receiving friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
