NORMA W. LAUGHLIN

Norma Lucille West Laughlin, 86, died early Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with pastor Bill Garner officiating. Family members will greet friends immediately following the funeral service. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mae Burt West.
She loved working in her flower gardens and feeding the many birds that visited them.
Ms. Laughlin is survived by her daughters, Connie L. and Larry Kammler of Goldsboro and Lou Ann Laughlin of Goldsboro; her three grandchildren that she loved to spend time with, Brooke Kammler, Casie and Brooks Grimes and Sarah Walker; her only great-grandchild, Payton Grimes; two sisters, Florence Haskins of West Virginia and Ellen Tetlow of Ohio; and two special friends, Vincent Gambella and Dexter Pridgen.
