BURLINGTON -- Clay Katsis, 92, died at home Friday.
The family had a Trisagion Service (blessing service) at St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church at 7 p.m. Sunday, with visitation following in the church hall.
The funeral service was held today at 11 a.m. at the church, with Father George Vlahos and Father Michael Varvarelis officiating. Burial followed in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Katsis was born in Karitsa, Karpenisiou, Evrytania, Greece, Jan. 23, 1917, to Nicholas Katsigiannis and Zanthi Zaharopoulou Katsigiannis.
Mr. Katsis is survived by his wife of 75 years, Frances, and two children.
