GENEVA GRIMES SUTTON

MOUNT OLIVE -- Geneva Grimes Sutton, 83, died Monday morning in Holly Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Md.
Services for Mrs. Sutton will be held by the graveside at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Wayne Memorial Park with Dr. H. Dennis Draper Jr. and the Rev. Blane Smith officiating.
Visitation will be from 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday night at Tyndall Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of Dwight "Tenny" Sutton, 102 Sleepy Creek Drive, Dudley.
Mrs. Sutton and her late husband, Rubin E. "Buddy" Sutton, founder of Sutton Electric Co., were residents of Old Smith Chapel Road, Mount Olive. She loved her husband dearly and her family is grateful that she has been reunited with him, along with others who have preceded her in death, including her parents, Alton and Eula Hood Grimes; and two brothers, Dwight Grimes and Boyce Grimes.
She will be remembered as a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who enjoyed gardening, cooking, the beach, and being with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Brooks Sutton of Potomac, Md.; two sons, Dwight "Tenny" Sutton and his wife, Jean, of Dudley, and Tony Sutton and his wife, Shelia, of Newton Grove; five grandchildren, Dwight Sutton Jr., Christopher E. Sutton, Cameron Sutton, Victoria Sutton, and Ashley Sutton; and three great-grandchildren.
