SEVEN SPRINGS -- Joan R. Rouse, 70, died Sunday.
A service of remembrance will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Rouse Funeral Home of La Grange. Interment will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park Kinston.
She was born April 6, 1939, in Lenoir County to the late Esdras Willard Rouse Sr. and Anna Hicks Bland Rouse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert C. Rouse.
Visitation will be Thursday following the service of remembrance and at other times at the home of Fella and Lydia Rouse, intersection of Hwy. 55 and Hardy Bridge Road.
