ALTHEA B. CHESTNUTT

MOUNT OLIVE -- Althea B. Chestnutt, 85, died Friday.
The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Brownings United Methodist Church with the Rev. Leland Heath and the Rev. Lester Bissette. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Chestnutt is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, June C. and Garrett Strickland of Mount Olive, Diane C. and Albert Smith of Middlesex; grandchildren, Nicole Davis, Brook Smith and Reginald Strickland; sisters, Nellie Honeycutt, Annette Blackman, Mildred Best and Dora Lee Tyndall, all of Clinton, and Margaret Gillis of Georgia; and a brother, Leslie Blackman Jr. of Faison.
She is survived by her husband, W.H. Chestnutt; daughter, Deborah Tadlock; and grandson, George Sheldon Strickland.
