Brandon Michael Ward, 21, 120 Hillmont Road, New Bern, died Thursday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Stephen Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Wallace Jr. Officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Lillie Sutton Alli, and his father, Fletcher Ward Jr.
The family will receive friends at the home of the Rev. Fred and Loretta Wallace, 120 Hillmont Road, New Bern.
A viewing will be held today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Oscar's Mortuary, 1700 Oscar Drive, and at the church an hour prior to the service.
