DONOHUE J. SHELTON

Donohue Jackson Shelton, 72, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Shelton was born in Saratoga to the late Robert and Bettie Wooten Shelton. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Shelton; two daughters, Lisa Shelton Krieger of Rocky Mount and Ginger Shelton Harper and her husband, Ian, of Goldsboro; one sister, Hilda Batts of Rocky Mount; and a granddog whom he thought dearly of, Danny Boy Harper.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. with the chapel service following at 11 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Wayne County Humane Society, P.O. Box 821, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
