Hazel Taylor Young, 72, 2689 O'Berry Road, died Wednesday at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Frank Purvis officiating.
Born in Lenoir County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Vertie D. Taylor and husband of the late Sherwood Young.
She is survived by one son.
Family members will greet friends tonight from 5 to 7 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Arrangements are being handled by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
