EDNA MOONEYHAN GOFF

Edna Mooneyhan Goff, 73, passed away early Friday morning surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Revs. Bill Cotton and Billy Toler officiating. Burial will follow at the Pikeville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home from 7 until 9 p.m., and other times at the home, 1406 Peachtree St., Goldsboro.

Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Edward Mooneyhan, who passed away when she was very young, and Buddy and Annie Elizabeth Pittman Jackson. Mrs. Goff was preceded in death by her husband, William Paul Goff; two sons, John Paul Goff and William Edward Goff; and two sisters, Betty Evans and Carolyn Hargis.

Mrs. Goff is survived by one son, Gene Goff and wife, Denise, of Zebulon; her daughter, Joyce and husband, Chris, Woodruff; two sisters, Mary Gardner and husband, George, William of Pikeville and Linda Marlowe and husband, Benji, of Fremont; two grandchildren, Cody Goff and Meghan Goff; two step-grandchildren, Jarred Rish and Sydney Rish; and two great grandchildren, Alexis Davis and Brooke Summerlin.
