Hayward Earl Crawford, 67, of 500 Genola St., Fayetteville died Saturday at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill.
Funeral services will be held today at 10 a.m. at St. Delight United Holy Church in Parkstown. Burial, with full military rites, will follow in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Among his survivors are his wife, Joyce Crawford of Fayetteville; two daughters, Erika Gladden of Mount Rainier, Md. and Sonya Day of Japan; and his sisters, Gwendolyn Crawford Mason of Bowie, Md., Ora Crawford of Goldsboro; brother, Ezra Jackson Jr. of LaGrange; and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation was held Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends at 708 E. Elm St., where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
