LEROY FIELDS

Mr. Leroy Fields, 61, 306 Linwood Ave., passed away at approximately 9:35 a.m. on Wednesday, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Word Faith Center Church, 510 W. "A" St., Goldsboro with Bishop William A. Philips officiating. Burial will follow, in the future, at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. A viewing will be held Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St.
A Vietnam veteran, Mr. Fields retired from the United States Air Force in 1985, after 21 years of service.
Mr. Fields is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mrs. Georgia M. Fields; as well as his children, Leroy and Nichole Fields of Tampa, Fla., Michael Fields of Washington, D.C., Judith and Marcus Samuel of Charlotte, Lisa and Larry Harris of Goldsboro; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
