MOUNT OLIVE -- Arthur Lewis Janey, 56, passed away on Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with John Norman presiding.
Mr. Janey was born in Roanoke, Va. on Sept. 25, 1951, to Jane J. Murley of Blacksburg, Va. and the late Arthur Janey. He was the owner and operator of Buck's Gun Works.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Janey is survived by his wife, Anne Read Janey; his daughter, Elizabeth Janey Priester of Shallotte; two grandsons and his brother, Gentry Reed Janey of Kiln, Miss.
The family will greet friends at Seymour Funeral Home following the memorial service.
