Homegoing services for Louvenia Rhodes, 90, of Dudley, will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Old Mill Cemetery. The eulogy will be by pastor Nancy Kornegay.
Her memories will be forever loved and cherished by her daughter and caregiver, Minister Gloria Howell and husband, Sgt. Thomas Ray Howell of the home; another daughter, Lena Mae Vann of Washington, D.C.; one brother, James Rhodes, and wife Elizabeth of Goldsboro; one daughter-in-law, Minister Ernestine Rhodes of Goldsboro; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
