Charlie "Buddy" Sharp, 86, 101 Lake Ridge Drive, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home Chapel, Wilson, with the Rev. Gilbert Baker officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Committal services will be held in Evergreen Memorial Park on Friday at 10 a.m.
Mr. Sharp was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Watson Sharp, and a son.
He is survived by by two sons, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of Tim and Teresa Sharp, 101 Lake Ridge Drive in Goldsboro.
