LaGRANGE -- William Aldridge "Billy" Hardy Jr., 71, of 4331 Ben Dail Road, died Saturday. Mr. Hardy was born in Greene County to the late William Aldridge Hardy Sr. and Ellen Bruce Jones Hardy.
The funeral will be held today at 5 p.m. from Wheat Swamp Christian Church with Pastor Lawrence Taylor officiating. Interment will be Monday at 11 a.m. from Rainbow United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Hardy is survived by his wife, Ann Rouse Hardy; and two sons.
The family will receive friends Sunday following the service and at other times they will be at the home. Memorials may be made to the Youth Fund or Choir Fund at Wheat Swamp Christian Church, 3732 Wheat Swamp Road, LaGrange, N.C. 28551. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
