Mrs. Lissie Mae Odom Hare, 91, of Woodard's Care, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Mae was born in Wayne County on March 12, 1917, to the late Marcus Odom and Huldah Beamon Odom. She was married to the late Leve Bryant Hare. Mae was retired from the A&P Grocery Store and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

The funeral will be held Sunday at 5 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Pete Bass and Elbert Hollowell officiating. Interment will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Hare is survived by her son, Kenneth Hare and wife, Rose, of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, April Webb, Amanda Hare and Melody Ricks; and her great-grandchild, Makayla Webb.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Woodard's Care for the compassionate care given to Mrs. Hare.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 until 5 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, 2668 Stevens Mill Road, Goldsboro.
