FOUR OAKS -- Mary Britt Carter died Friday.
Funeral will be 6 p.m. today at West and Dunn Funeral Home Chapel in Newton Grove, with the Rev. Patrick Muston officiating. Visitation will follow.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Holmes Family Cemetery in Four Oaks.
Mrs. Carter is survived by her son and daughers-in-law, Billy and Shirley Carter of Goldsboro, and Shelly Carter of Selma; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Leonard Carter, and son, Edward Carter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Selah Christian Church Building Fund, 3304 Steven's Mill Road, Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
